Geschichte
Seit seiner Eröffnung am 18. November 1994 hat sich der National Golf Club zu einem beliebten Reiseziel für Golfer aus aller Welt entwickelt und schnell internationale Anerkennung erlangt. Eingebettet in einen Eukalyptus- und Pinienwald mit dem schneebedeckten Taurusgebirge im Hintergrund und zahlreichen natürlichen Seen, stellt der National Golf Club Golfer aller Spielstärken auf die Probe.
Der National war der erste Golfplatz in der Türkei, der unter der Leitung und gemäß den Standards der European PGA entwickelt wurde. Er steht sowohl Mitgliedern als auch einer begrenzten Anzahl von Tagesgästen offen. Der traditionelle Club verfügt über einen 18-Loch-Meisterschaftsplatz, entworfen von Ryder-Cup-Spieler David Feherty und Seniors Tour-Spieler David Jones – viele halten ihn für Fehertys bestes Werk.
Der Golfclub blickt auf eine erfolgreiche Geschichte zurück: Als erster Golfclub der Türkei war er nicht nur Vorreiter bei der Eröffnung, sondern auch der erste Austragungsort eines internationalen Profi-Golfturniers – den Turkish Senior Open (1996 & 1997). Seitdem ist der Club regelmäßig Gastgeber weiterer bedeutender Turniere. Der National Golf Club wurde in ganz Europa mehrfach ausgezeichnet und zählt zu den besten Plätzen der Region (Platz 42 im Jahr 2000 und Platz 39 im Jahr 2001 laut „Golf World UK“, Platz 9 entlang der Mittelmeerküste laut „Die Welt“, Platz 16 weltweit laut „Golf Journal“ Deutschland).

Since its opening in 1994, the National Golf Club has played a pivotal role in shaping Türkiye’s golf scene, becoming a renowned venue for some of the most prestigious international tournaments. * Nachsaat: Der Golfplatz wird vom 10. September 2026 bis einschließlich 25. September 2026 vorübergehend geschlossen, um üppige und makellose Fairways zu ermöglichen.
* Wartung des Hohlkerns: Die planmäßige Wartung der Hohlkernbelüftung wird vom 20. Juni 2026 bis einschließlich 31. August 2026 durchgeführt, um optimale Platzbedingungen und Spielbarkeit zu gewährleisten.
*Buggy-Nutzung: Vom 26. September 2026 bis einschließlich 5. Oktober 2026 ist die Buggy-Nutzung auf ausgewiesene Wege beschränkt.
